My Other Family

219/365

I have no words to express how much I love the people in the picture below.

From left to right: Evan, Nancy, Maddie, Me and Dylan.

These wonderful people are like my other family. Nancy is my mom and Evan, Dylan and Maddie are the siblings I never had. There is never a dull moment when I am with them. We laugh so much together and I can just be with them. They love me for who I am and I love them right back for who they are. I couldn't be who I am today with out them and I am so glad and blessed to have them in my life.

I would have taken a better picture tonight but I was just too involved with spending time with them and enjoying their company. So here is an older picture from a little more than a year ago. It's like our Christmas picture.

Do you have someone like this in your life? An "other family"? A "sibling"? Someone you love so dearly and who loves you back? Tell me!

Home

210/365

This is my church. My home church. I grew in my faith the most here. This is where some of my best friends are. This is where I feel close to God.

I saw some of my "other family" today. They mean the world to me. Nancy (Mom), Evan (brother) and Maddie (sister). Dylan, the other brother, would have been there but he was off at Cross Country Camp.

194/365

This is a picture that hangs in my grandma's bedroom. It's of me, Drew and Chandler several years ago. She used to have us take pictures like this all the time. We don't do it anymore. But I've always loved this picture. It makes me smile every time I see it.

Chandler is the tiny one and Drew is on my back.

The first picture is our table set for family dinner night. The second one is the winning crockpot of awesome cooking our chili.

It was delicious and family dinner night was fun. We played Mario Party and watched My Neighbor Totoro. :) Happy night.

We Are Family

8/365

Don't we look related?

These are my cousins. Chandler is the one on the left and Drew is on the right. They are so cute and loveable. They are hilarious. I love them. :) They frustrate me so much some times but when I hear them laugh I forget about all of that!
