Happy Easter. He is Risen Indeed. Hallelujiah!

I had to start off my day with work but then I got off and headed over to my Aunt's house for dinner with my family. It was really good to see them. I haven't seen them for a long time. On the way home it just started POURING down rain. It was crazy, but then I came around a bend in the road and saw the sun setting. It was a beautiful thing and I just had to take a picture of it.



I know I shouldn't have done this while driving in the pouring rain but it was too good of an opportunity to waste. It was beautiful in a really strange way. :)

A Letter to My Shoes

Dear Mocasins,
I am terribly sorry that I keep on insisting that I wear you when it's raining out. I realize that you are not waterproof and that the more I get you wet, the faster you will not be warm and fluffy on the inside. But in my defense, I didn't think it was gonna start pouring rain. And that it was only going to pour harder as I walked home. Without an umbrella. I got really wet too! I hope you can forgive me.
