Sixty Days. That's how many I have left!
Anyway. Today I shall be talking about the movie The Green Mile.
It stars Tom Hanks and Michael Clark Duncan and Bonnie Hunt and a slew of other great actors in a really touching story that was originally a novel by Stephen King.
Paul Edgecomb is a man who works on Death Row in the deep south and they call the particular cell block he works on "The Green Mile" because of the linoleum that they had in the block. When a six foot eight inches tall black man named John Coffey is put on death row for the rape and murder of two little girls, Paul and the other men on The Mile soon find out that not everything is as it seems and that miracles can happen anywhere and everywhere.
It's really touching and very well done. It keeps you interested through the very end. It's been out for years but it's still good.
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” ~Matthew 6: 33-34
